The lion has roared once again!
King’s College Budo proudly represented Uganda from 11th -17th April at the International Science Olympiad in Greece, where they clinched a prestigious gold medal. They were joined by fellow Ugandan schools Mengo SSS and Mt. St. Mary’s Namagunga.

The Budo delegation, led by Mrs. Assumpta Kasamba, Mr. Kamya Sylivan, and Mr. Namanda Ivan, mentored a spirited team of young innovators. These brilliant minds tackled rigorous science-based challenges, showcasing remarkable creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participating teams, with special praise to Team Vulkan for raising the Budo flag so high. Your triumph beautifully embodies this year’s theme:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
