On Sunday, December 1st, 2024, our school community gathered to celebrate Christmas, a cherished tradition held on the last Sunday of the third term. The chapel choir, led by their trainers Mr. Francis Mutesasira and Ms. Faith Gertrude Nantume, filled the air with beautiful carols.

The five readings for the day were taken from Luke chapters 1 and 2

In his remarks, Headmaster Canon John Fred Kazibwe expressed gratitude to God for a vibrant church community. He also thanked the chaplain for his efforts in making the service a success and commended the chapel choir for their melodious carols.

The headmaster encouraged the choir to continue using their talents to praise the Lord. He reflected on the true meaning of Christmas, saying, “when the child is born in our lives, we are made new.” He encouraged everyone to leave the old behind and move forward with the new, just as the child is born in each of us.

He thanked everyone for their hard work throughout the year and wished the congregation a joyous Christmas and a happy new year.

The celebrations continued in the quads, where a sumptuous lunch was served to all. The festive atmosphere was filled with Christmas carols, joy, and merriment, as the little children celebrated their Christmas in the Headmaster’s gardens.

We thank God for a good year,
